Here you will find a few of our favorite advertising campaigns, billboards, full- page and two-page spreads. Creative Copywriting. Creative Concepts. Creative Ads.
Most are national campaigns, but a few were created for metro Atlanta businesses.
Why Studio South?

Well, first of all, there is no other graphic designer, web designer, art director or copywriter in Atlanta who is going to tell you their creative process. The creative process (described on the right) was learned at The Creative Circus, an internationally recognized college of advertising and new media design, located in Atlanta. We have learned that this creative process works and we do not veer from it. A steady, trusted approach is what we choose, and believe our creative process, our experience, and our affordability are the great reasons you should choose Studio South.

If you've gotten this far, and you've reviewed some of the award-winning advertising portfolio and graphic design portfolio samples above, you probably have a few questions such as:

"If I choose you to design my media project, what is the process? What's the time frame? What do I need to get  you in order to begin?" How do you create websites and logos and all that other stuff? Why should I choose you over all the other designers, copywriters and web designers in Atlanta, and the world for that matter?" What is the cost?

Process:  the creative process of  ad design, copywriting tag lines, and corporate identity branding usually follows the same path (as taught by major creative directors):

    1) knowing what is to be achieved / the results our client desires (from our proven creative brief method)
    2) researching the target audience (see related article)
    3) Researching trends in that particular industry
    4) Researching / knowing the ultimate forms of media the ad, logo, branding will ultimately be
    5) Creative Brainstorming -  through words and phrases only for all of the above
    6) Creative Brainstorming - through drawing and sketching all of the above
    7) Organizing all of the above into coherent layouts (usually around 25)

* This is the point where it all comes together (due to our creative brief method). The best ideas are then put into layouts; the initial concepts are created, revised, and sent to the customer for review. You see only our best ideas, not the sheets of paper wadded up and thrown into the waste baske. The point is: there is a design process, and it takes much time and effort.

Time: Depending on the project, and our knowledge of the subject matter, the above can take just hours, or a week. Most projects take anywhere from two to three days to two/two and 1/2 weeks to complete. Large projects, such as twenty-page websites can take as long as a month.

What we need from you:  in order to keep a smooth creative process, you will need to tell us your desired results, who you believe is your target audience, advertising budget (toughest - but a range would help), websites, logos and ads that you really like. Besides a 50% deposit, the last item needed is patience. A couple of days between the deposit and the next time you hear from us is fairly standard. We can speak on a daily basis after that, but let us do our research and the items numbered above first.
